Her default state assumes an average, petite teenager who looks human nonetheless - save for a pair of bushy gray ears and a swishing tail. When she pleases (or whenever she experiences emotions to an extremity), the young girl can transform into a small orange tabby.[break][break] FELINE PHYSIOLOGYLena's feline physiology does not only pertain a pair of ears and a tail. Accompanying her physical features are some behavioral quirks reminiscent of a cat. She has a knack for spotting things others wouldn't, like insects hidden in nooks and crannies or rodents lurking. As a result, her observance to things around her are enhanced. When she is nervous or excited, Lena involuntarily meows or hisses. If she is startled, she amusingly jumps high in the air - or onto the closest thing around. Have fun playing with her! The world is so much larger when you are in it alone - left to fend for yourself. Lena was used to having someone to hide behind when she was afraid, and used to running away from things that annoyed or frightened her. Here she stands, in a sea of strangers. It's loud and frantic, and the little one urges her stone stiff paws to flee from this place and jump on highest ledge which she does not find.[break][break] "You'll never grow up if you don't face the world," her mother chastises her, then relinquishing her shoulder with a comforting pat.[break][break] So shouldn't we enjoy every day?She's that kind of girl, the quiet one in the back of the class, diligently writing notes. She surrounds herself with things that remind her of somewhere tranquil; Things like old comic books nestled in tall library shelves, frayed around the edges and reeking of old age and maple syrup. She admired those meticulous strokes and vibrant expressions, how every single page was laced with perfection, laced with an imaginary spell that drew her in for years to come.[break][break] She waited and waited for her fairytale to begin.[break][break] Having a snack and playing with the birds,"We'll go where the wind takes us."[break][break] It's something she often hears her father say, jokingly.[break][break] Lena is the only daughter to a wealthy entrepreneur and a traveling journalist. The two were always up and on their feet, chasing opportunities regardless of their increasing age. She hopped around the globe like a vagabond in pursuit of a place to call home.
